We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Content Technology team in Bengaluru. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Java/J2EE, Microservices and AWS. We are looking for someone who has experience with Linux and ideally has worked in a cloud environment. It will be great if you have experience with Python and Angular as well. The team consists of 20+ people and is reporting to the Senior Manager  

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments    

 

Minimum 4 years of experience with strong knowledge of both front and back end (full stack developer) Motivated independent self-starter; needs minimal supervision. Displays knowledge and passion for technology. Strives for an intelligent and feasible solution taking into account all aspects of the system Rapidly picks up new scenarios during a testing/evaluation phase. Asks intelligent questions in response. Understands business urgency and drives the team to hit delivery targets.

Java/J2EE, Python, JSON, XML, Micro services Angular, NodeJS, HTML and JavaScript Amazon Web Services Postgres, No SQL databases, Spring, Spring Boot, Groovy Object-oriented software design patterns Working knowledge of Unix Tool Sets.

Develops program designs discussing with Tech leads Develops technical specifications discussing with Tech leads Develops system test plans and evaluates results Prepares and evaluates program level and job level documentation Performs and oversees implementation and turnover Reports task status, Meets deliverable Ensures adherence to all applicable standards Under moderate supervision and coaching, begin to apply and learn Work with business users to identify, analyze, and define business problems and opportunities 

 

About the Team     

Content Technology team is the backbone of Clarivate as all the content will get acquired, ingested, curated and then delivered to the end products of Clarivate.  

   

Hours of Work    

40 hours per week, permanent full-time position with Bengaluru as the base location.
