Your New Role: \nThe Sr Software Engineer reports to the Sr Manager, Engineering and is accountable for designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions that power our advertising technology stack.\n\n\nYour Role Accountabilities: \nSoftware Development & Integration \nBuild and maintain services for ad-serving, campaign management, and identity systems. \nFull stack engineers possessing entire web development skills such as backend (JS, Python, java etc), frontend (HTML, JSS, framework like React/Angular/Vue), database (SQL, NoSQL), cloud platforms etc. \n \nDevelop APIs and integrations with third-party AdTech partners and data providers. \nProficiency in: \nOne language: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Go, Ruby, PHP, Angular/React framework, \nCloud platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, DevOps tool \n \nData Engineering \nDesign and implement ETL pipelines and real-time data processing for ad performance, forecasting, and yield optimization. \nWork with big data frameworks (Spark, Kafka) to handle large-scale datasets \nPlatform Modernization \nContribute to migration of legacy systems to modular, cloud-native architectures. \nImplement observability, security, and compliance best practices, system design. \n \nCollaboration & Technical Guidance \nPartner with product and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals. \nShare best practices and mentor junior engineers when needed. \n \nQualifications & Experience \n• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. \n• Engineering Expertise: 5+ years in software engineering, with exposure to AdTech or large-scale distributed systems. \n• Hands-On technical experience: Hands-on expertise with Java, Scala, or Python, JavaScript, Go. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Kafka), data base systems (SQL, NoSQL) and streaming architectures. \n• AdTech Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with advertising workflows including forecasting, yield optimization, identity, and campaign execution. \n• Collaboration & Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to partner with data scientists, product, and platform engineering, while mentoring junior engineers.
