Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environmentsContribute to large scale planning of strategiesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsReview moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and proceduresResolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goalsLead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of hands-on Python development experience4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience4+ years' experience working with one or more CI/CD Pipeline (GitHub), Harness/Spinnaker & Release management4+ years' experience with either Cloud and/or Container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.4+ years experience using Git or other version control systems
 

Desired Qualifications:

Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholdersProficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, or PowerShellEngineering and development experience on middleware messaging platforms: IBM MQ, Solace & Confluent KafkaHands-on experience with Automation Scripting: Terraform, Azure DevOps.3+ years of experience with Observability/Monitoring tools: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, Kafka, Big Panda, SplunkExperience with Automation tools: Gradle, Maven, Git.ServiceNow experience a plusExperience contributing to large-scale planning of strategies (from a platform setup and optimization point)Working experience and knowledge in Spring Framework and APIsKnowledge of database technologies: MongoDB, SQL/No SQL DBExperience in design, code, test, debug, and documentation for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deploymentsExperience reviewing moderately complex technical challengesExperience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospective meetings)

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $163,000.00
