**About this role:**
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
+ Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
+ Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
+ Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
+ Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
+ Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:**
+ Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ **4+ years of Software Engineering experience as a .NET full stack developer (C#, ASP.NET Core).**
+ Strong analytical, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Solid understanding of Agile product development methodologies and experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high‑quality products on time.
+ Hands‑on experience building microservices using **ASP.NET Core** , **C#** , **REST APIs** , and **event‑driven architectures** .
+ Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience designing highly secure, scalable, resilient, and performant applications using **.NET design patterns** , **12‑factor app principles** , and **cloud‑native best practices** .
+ Deep understanding of **application performance management** , **memory management** , **async/await patterns** , and **multithreading** .
+ Strong foundational skills in **Data Structures** , **Design Patterns** , **OOPs** , **SOLID principles** , and **secure coding practices** .

**Other Requirements**
+ Must have worked in an **Agile/Scrum** development environment (minimum 2+ years).
+ Experience mentoring/coaching team members and other engineers.
+ Experience with **VXML** (an added advantage).
**Job Expectations:**
+ As an engineer, a successful candidate will be partner with members of an agile development team and stakeholders. Should support the technical designs with other developers, assist with code reviews and implement highly complex user stories.
