About the Team & Role

Our engineering team solves complex problems at the intersection of big data, audio science, and cloud computing to authenticate users and detect fraud in large-scale call center environments.

As a Software Test Engineer on our System Test team, you will own and evolve our End-to-End (E2E) test framework and lead performance and stress testing of our cloud platform. Your work will directly enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable products. This is a highly technical role that blends test architecture, automation, cloud systems, and performance engineering.

What You’ll Do

Maintain and enhance our existing End-to-End test framework

Review, refactor, and improve existing automated test code

Define, promote, and enforce best practices for End-to-End and system testing

Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests for our cloud platform

Analyze test results and recommend architectural or platform changes to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency

Create, update, review, and execute automated test cases aligned with evolving product features (including manual execution when required)

Build tooling across the entire testing lifecycle, including test case management, test data generation, automated bug capture, and test execution tracking

Educate and mentor engineers on testing strategies, patterns, and processes to continuously improve product quality

Collaborate closely with development, platform, and DevOps teams

Our Tech Stack: Python, Go, Ruby, Pytest, Cypress, C++, AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Docker, VoIP.

Your Skill Set Must Have

5+ years of experience in test engineering, test automation, or test architecture

Strong experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly Pytest

Solid programming skills, preferably in Python or Go

Hands-on experience testing cloud-native systems

Strong working knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, and Docker (or equivalent technologies)

Nice to Have

Experience with performance, load, or stress testing

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum

Experience with UI testing tools like Cypress or Selenium

Exposure to VoIP or real-time communication systems

Contribute a small test plan and add a system test validating a feature or bug

Begin collaborating closely with team members

Within 60 Days

Develop strong familiarity with the product and platform

Actively contribute improvements to the test framework

Review test plans and implement additional system and validation tests

Within 90 Days

Gain a deep understanding of the test framework and confidently support external teams

Design and execute at least one load or performance test for the cloud platform
