As a Senior Software Developer, you will work with a team of developers to deliver software features, APIs, and micro-service solutions. We are looking for candidates with 5-7 years of experience writing software using Agile and DevSecOps methods such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and test automation.

Contributions

Responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and deploy micro-services and cloud-based systems using Java / ReactCollaborate with stakeholders, designers, and business analysts to refine requirementsTroubleshoot software quality, security, and reliability issuesParticipate in code reviews and quality assuranceAutomate unit and functional testsIdentify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop updates and fixesSupport debugging, troubleshooting, and testing of softwareDocument software code, features, and training guidesUse virtualization and containerization to optimize software systemsImplement solutions and provide continuous improvement recommendationsPresenting technical solutions and demos to a variety of stakeholders Qualifications

Required:

5 Years of experience with front-end and back-end software development languages like Java and ReactExperience developing software with cloud native services or APIs3 Years of experience using CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitHub PipelinesExperience developing in and implementing docker containersExperience implementing Automated Testing frameworks including unit testing

Preferred:

Experience supporting technical demonstrations or tech challenges5+ years of application development in an Agile environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and collaborative skills About steampunk

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $175,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
