Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Shipside Operations Specialist (Level 4) to support the Military Delivery Center - Line Side Control Center (LSCC) Flight Line team in Tukwila, WA!

Position Responsibilities:  

Provide expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issuesUse advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organizationUtilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issuesConducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteriaAssist organizations in identifying recurring and high impact issuesMay analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issuesCoordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issuesProvides coaching and instruction to other teammatesFacilitate ongoing coordination and closure of open SAT itemsWorks under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience3+ years of experience working in a multi-functional team environment3+ years of experience with MESci, CMES, REDARS & PSDS3+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research3+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role and SAT3+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office and applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access and TableauExperience with analytical and complex problem solvingExperience presenting findings to cross functional partners and senior and/or executive leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience in driving compliance culture and risk mitigation5+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace5+ years of experience in operations analysis or operations researchProficiency in the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving3+ year of experience presenting information to senior leadership
