Senior Service Engineer (Controls & HVAC)

Job Summary: 
The Senior Service Engineer (Controls & HVAC) is responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Trane chillers, HVAC equipment, and control systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer interaction, and leadership capabilities. The engineer will support field operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction. This role will be base in HQ (Shah Alam)
Responsibilities: 
• Perform servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Trane chillers and other HVAC equipment.
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance for chillers, control systems, and related equipment.
• Conduct overhaul work, commissioning, and startup activities on Trane chillers.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians to complete assigned jobs effectively and safely.
• Liaise with customers to address and resolve complaint cases promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support smooth job execution.
• Assist in schedule planning, resource allocation, and preparation of technical reports for management review.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with required quality standards and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.
• Provide technical support for HVAC control systems, including diagnostics, calibration, and integration.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in chiller systems and air-conditioning.
• Working experience in data center environments (direct or indirect) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, BAS/BMS systems, and troubleshooting control components.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently when required.
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliver results professionally.
