**Description** SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Security Principal to assist in developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. In this role you will: + Study and implement security regulations that apply to customer operations and relay them to supporting contractors + Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies + Conduct security education classes and security audits + Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken + Participate in development of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards + Establish operational objectives and assignments + Be involve in developing, modifying and executing customer policies which impact immediate operation(s) + Participate in development of solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. Challenges are often unique and solutions may serve precedent for future decisions. + Work under consultative direction toward pre-determined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. + Serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives **Qualifications** + Current TS/SCI & Poly + Intimate working knowledge of customer security process + Knowledge of ICD 705 + Ability to work in a dynamic environment + Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability + Minimum of 14 years of relevant security experience + Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of degree will be considered + Ability to maintain periods of extended travel for 4-6 weeks SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
