About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Securities Research Specialist
In this role you will
Work on various work streams that form key components of M&A Buy or Sells side deals and/or, Corporate Finance or Capital Market transactionsAssist in preparing Pitch books, including industry overviews, company profiles, management biographies, brokers’ outlook, share price performance, deal case studies, evolution of industry/peers valuation multiples, possible buyer/seller opportunitiesWork on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, buyer or target identification, company/M&A screening and sector updates and analysesWork on financial analysis, industry benchmarking and valuation modelsDevelop an understanding of a sector’s key performance and valuation indicators and identify key industry and M&A trends and outlook impacting the sectorDevelop excellent working knowledge of market database tools e.g., Fact set, Thomson one, Capital IQ, etc.Interact with multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired goalRequired Industry experience in Consumer & Retail Sector Investment BankingRequired Qualifications:
4+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
MBA or Masters in Finance from a premier education institutePreferably 4+ years of relevant experienceStrong inclination towards building a career in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or Capital MarketsImpeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholdersGood understanding of Financial concepts and company valuation techniquesStrong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem solving approachAbility to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications – Power Point and ExcelStrong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverablesAbility to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and managementResults driven, accountable and ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentPosting End Date:
