You will become part of Northrop Grumman's P-3 Customs and Border Protection Program.
In this role, you will:
Supervisor and carry out daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accurate inventory, and timely delivery
Task Requirements:
Perform duties as a Senior Warehouse Specialist in support of Customs Border Protection P-3 Aircraft
Supervise, work cross-functionally, lead team meetings, train, and direct warehouse staff or temporary labor to achieve operational goals
Ability to establish and maintain good working relations with fellow workers and vendors
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company's safety protocols.
Perform and conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventory, stock forecasting, stock replenishment and manage records (manifests, stock, assist approval of timesheets)
Inspect parts received as to quality and quantity in compliance with established standards
Record received materials in inventory system.
Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, schedule shipments, and receive DoD and commercial material
Coordinate with outlining operating sites and maintenance departments to ensure movement of parts and materials
Coordinate workflow through a team so that metrics are attained on a consistent basis
Perform computer input functions within the asset management systems.
Maintain all sensitive data information in accordance with government and company policy
Ensure security, and preservation of government and company owned equipment.
Prepare required documentation for warehouse operations
Identify chokepoints, recommend process improvements and resolve issues to optimize warehouse efficiency
Ability to multi-task various assignments in a timely manner
Assist with regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment to maintain standards
Adaptable and flexible in dynamic environments
High level of problem-solving aptitude
Strong project management skills
Construct shipping containers.
Climb up and down ladders
. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
Have a current driver’s license
Ability to operate warehouse machinery, forklifts, pallet jacks, compressors and utilize hand tools
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years working directly in supply chain and / or logistics roles; an additional 5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Good organizational and time-management skills
Experience with hazardous shipping and handling
Comply with established general and industrial safety rules.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge or familiarization with P-3 type aircraft
Current DOD Secret level security clearance
Forklift Certified
Experience in inventory analysis, material forecasting and transportation management
A current security clearance (Secret or higher)
A current DHS background investigation
Primary Level Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
