Job Purpose
ICE Fixed Income & Data Services is streamlining the system - Featuring high quality and market-leading data, our end-to-end solutions create exceptional insights that drive performance. We currently have an opening for a sales professional, a “hunter” who will drive sales growth with new customers and generating additional business within existing accounts. Connecting clients to solutions through collaboration with product and sales teams across ICE Fixed Income & Data Services and ICE Exchanges.
The focus will be on growing business by deploying a targeted sales strategy, building pipeline and cross selling between the existing business lines of the Index offering. Work in collaboration with Account Managers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell within the existing account base. This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on successes through collaboration. We seek an aggressive hunter with polished sales, pipeline management, territory management and closing skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the commercial strategy for territory, taking into account industry/regulatory requirements, market trends and client requirementsClient meetings, presentations, and preparation of RFP/RFI responsesExceed Individual sales quotaDevelop and nurture strong client relationships in particular with the ‘C-Suite’ and Senior ManagersProduce accurate revenue forecasting for new business sales and keep an up-to-date pipeline, contacts and visit records in SalesForce CRM systemDevelop an understanding of, and stay current on, the ICE Data Services products and solutions and their application to the market in Asia Pacific and internationally.Understand make up of client base and assist sales team in putting in place territory plans to meet objectiveWork with other senior leaders across the globe to drive top line revenue growth.Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income and Derivatives or strong background in Financial Institutional markets preferredComprehensive understanding of the customer use cases and businessProven track record in quota-bearing roles including successful execution of complex sales and negotiationsAccelerate the sales process, generating leads, managing the proposal process, overcoming objectionsFinancial industry or data solutions experienceContacts within the financial services industry and good understanding of Asset Management and Fixed Income Institutional markets in their territory is idealStrong personal integrity and a confident and positive mannerEntrepreneurial mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgencyWork effectively in a team-based environment as well as independentlyDesire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment.
