Senior RPA Developer
Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at a Client office (20 King Street W, Toronto) at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time. 
 
The Senior RPA Developer is responsible for leading, supporting, and executing projects and initiatives to drive the transformation of HR. This role will support the Robotic Process Automation team through analysis, design, development, and support activities.

This role will collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, Business teams to capture requirements, streamline and automate processes. This role will also partner with Technology Teams on production support and maintenance of existing automated solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

o    Develop robust automation processes leveraging RPA (Blue Prism)
o    Accountable for development of new or significant changes/enhancements to RPA processes
o    Support initiatives led by operational excellence managers, business managers or service partners, relating to streamlining processes, and providing data and analytics
o    Responsible for mentoring junior staff and providing support and assistance to members of the RPA team
o    Conduct solution design walkthroughs and code reviews with the team and appropriate stakeholders
o    Ownership of specific changes to enhance RPA or as lead assigned to projects and initiatives
o    Work closely with members of the development and QA teams to review requirements and implement solutions
o    Coordinate activities and document results related to quality assurance, end user acceptance testing, and post implementation verification
o    Coordinate with Production Support (onshore/offshore) to ensure bots deployed in Production are running as expected
o    Promote innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices across the RPA team.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must Have;
o    Proficiency with Blue Prism, SQL, Python
o    6-10 years previous work experience of Blue Prism
o    1 to 2 years of previous work experience with Python
o    1 to 2 years of API integration with Blue Prism
o    Good Knowledge of SQL server
o    Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
o    Excellent Communication Skills

Nice to have;
o    Understanding of SAP and Service Now, Workday
o    Understanding of Blue Prism Upgrade to version 7 or later
o    Understanding of programming languages such as C#, Vb.net
o    Blue Prism Associate Developer Certification, Blue Prism Developer Certification, Blue Prism Certified Solution Designer


*CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
