We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Vega software development team in Belgrade. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth, stability, and continuous improvement of our application

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Minimum 2 years of experience working with manual and automated testing of modern web applications and Web UIs in Java, Selenium

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field and/or equivalent experience

Proficiency in English

What will you be doing in this role?

Design, implement, execute, and debug/fix manual tests of moderate complexity

Identify risk and develop and implement mitigation plans

Configure regression framework to run against different instances

Estimate effort required for given story or task

Provide inputs and escalate issues in bug triage meetings and coordinate with development team

Use developing skills to conduct root cause analysis, escalating significantly complex issues as necessary

The Vega project is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions.  Vega is an AWS based SaaS multi-tenant platform, with multiple cross functional components which combine to deliver unified, connected data experience across a library’s internal and marketing data, to a customer interaction management suite that is available for use by public libraries worldwide!   

About the Team

You will be joining one of our agile development teams and will work alongside developers, designers, product experts and QA engineers to deliver frequent value to library staff and patrons across the globe.

Hours of Work

Full-time position, typical hours are until 6PM CEST, to align with the US-East timeframes for reporting purposes. This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
