Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior QA Tester to join their team. Day to day for this role will include participating in daily stand-ups, creating and executing test cases for Windows, web-based apps, performing device-based testing, and Database/API testing. You will develop and execute test plans to ensure overall quality of web and desktop apps, collaborate to improve standards and procedures for measuring product quality and release readiness, and manually test apps across multiple configurations. The Senior QA will also have experience with Node.JS based Automated testing tools like Playwright/Cypress/ WebDriver IO for automation. The ideal candidate would have 7-10 years of experience as a Software QA, strong automation experience, strong analytical skills and great communication/ soft skills. This role will require you to be hybrid on-site in Tampa, FL. Skills and Requirements - 7-10+ years of experience in manual QA testing. - Strong understanding of testing methodologies and testing lifecycle. - Strong understanding of different software development lifecycles and programming languages. - Strong automation experience with Node.js tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriver IO. - Exposure to automation framework including the ability to customize, maintain, and improve test scripts to ensure scalability and efficiency. - Experience with JavaScript. - Good communication and collaboration and an ability to guide and mentor more junior QAs. - Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills. - Ability to come on-site for a hybrid environment.
