Job Description The Senior QA Lead is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities across key enterprise systems including customer portals, APIs, databases, CMS, and rating/enrollment platforms. This role bridges the gap between QA execution and management — providing hands-on leadership in test planning, technical validation, and defect analysis. The ideal candidate has strong experience in both functional and technical QA, including backend validation, integration testing, and cross-system dependencies. This position requires strong collaboration with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing releases. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Management or related field — or equivalent work experience. • 5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. • Strong understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies across web, API, and backend layers. • Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Katalon) and SQL for data validation. • Proven experience testing portals, rating engines, or critical systems. • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based environments. • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestOps, or similar). • Experience with automation frameworks (Katalon, Playwright) is a plus. • Ability to interpret technical logs, API schemas, and backend workflows.
