Our client, a leading firm in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Project Manager (IBOR) to join their team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting a large strategic program that is currently in flight. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. The specific area of the program requiring support involves the implementation of a new data model and data tool for IBOR data a new operating model both from a technology and business/operational perspective and decommissioning of the legacy system. Upon completion of these initial bodies of work, there are onward deliverable projects involving account conversion consumer cutover, and additional decommissioning of legacy applications. The successful individual in this role will be the lead Project Manager for this migration. This role interacts with multiple stakeholders and partners across the Enterprise Change Office, Technology, Investment Operations, Client Operations, Investments, and vendors. **Job Title:** Senior Project Manager (IBOR) **Location:** Baltimore, MD **Contract:** 12-Months **Pay Range:** $75/hr - $80/hr W2 **What's the Job?** + Serves as the end-to-end project lead for large-scale, complex projects that are either standalone projects or part of a broader strategic program. Manages the progress and contributions of workstream leads or subordinate project managers to ensure all activities deliver expected value within committed time frames and budget. + Drive benefit achievement by leading project inception, planning, and solution design, measuring key performance indicators and solution adoption. Provides transparency in project progress and effectively anticipates and mitigates major risks across the project life cycle. Proactively crafts feasible solutions to combat risks and issues. + Develops statements of work, stakeholder management plans, guiding principles, project goals, risks, resource allocation, and roles and responsibilities for assigned projects. + Engage with various levels stakeholders and assign responsibilities to support project plans. Establishes the program’s governance (e.g., sponsors, approvers, stakeholders). May participate in the evaluation, selection, and management of external resources or vendors as well as leading resources to deliver the project. + Apply knowledge of advanced methodologies to manage project activities including status reporting, risk identification/tracking, contingency/dependency tracking, scope management, estimation, selecting and applying project management tools for analyses/ reporting, and internal/external stakeholder management. + Provide oversight to workstream leads and resolve escalated project risks and issues. Monitors project results/performance for significant deviations, evaluates options, and makes recommendations for corrective actions; implements selected actions. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. + 5+ years of total relevant work experience in project management with large-scale, complex projects, + Significant stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to lead both internal/external resources. + Financial Services experience - supporting Investment and Client Operations projects.
