Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects focused on software applications and business process improvements within a Grid Reliability Services environment.
 
Must Have skills Knowledge of the Alberta Interconnected Electric System Market Previous utility industry experience Experience with projects spanning multiple business units Risk management and mitigation expertise Proficiency in project documentation and reporting Experience with project close-out and continuous improvement processes 8?+ years of experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders PMP (Project Management Professional) certification Experience in a technical applications environment for business software tools Demonstrated experience in business process changes and process improvements Prior experience with regulatory or compliance-focused projects Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills  
Responsibilities Confirm and establish project scope, schedule, resources, and communication needs Identify, engage, and manage project stakeholders Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management and communication plans Direct execution activities and monitor adherence to delivery checkpoints Ensure quality standards of all project deliverables Manage scope changes, scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation Report on project status, risks, and updates to leadership Maintain accurate and current records of project activities and outcomes Ensure project compliance with relevant legislation and regulations Collaborate with program support to implement project delivery improvements #LI-CC1
