Job Description

Reporting to the Project Lead, the Senior Project Manager is tasked with managing and supporting various work streams within a program, ensuring strategy and execution align with the overall work stream vision. The role is accountable for delivering successful transitions and integrations, managing both direct and indirect resources across geographically dispersed locations. The Senior Project Manager should be adept at interacting with Senior stakeholders at both local and regional levels and must be self-motivated to drive objectives to completion with minimal oversight. Workstreams will encompass people, process, technology, and real estate components that contribute to the final Target Operating Model for MMC Finance. The ideal candidate will have experience in major change initiatives with a proven track record in delivering major projects.

Responsibilities

Manage and support various work streams as detailed, communicating project activities across regions or functions.Prioritize and manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.Select and utilize project implementation documentation, including toolkits and migration schedules.Facilitate projects by escalating risks and their impact on business initiatives to management.Provide strategic support for the portfolio of work.Design and create strategic documents such as project business cases, assessments, communication plans, and detailed project plans.Present project updates and make presentations to Senior-level management within Finance.Support and lead decision-making processes required for progress on assigned programs and projects.Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making on key project items.Support work stream controls and compliance.Proactively follow and adhere to project controls for assigned projects.Identify and resolve issues, manage deliverables, mitigate risks, escalate issues to management, and ensure change control processes are aligned across functions.

Work Environment

The role is based in a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence from Monday to Wednesday.

This is a Contract position based out of Urbandale, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $60.05/hr.
