As the Senior Project Manager on site at a data center facility in Weehawken, NJ, you will play a vital role in shaping a brighter way for our clients, employees, and the company as a whole. What this job involves:

Lead and manage complex projects within mission-critical data center environments, ensuring 24/7 operational continuity and minimal downtime. Oversee technical operations including power systems, cooling infrastructure, fire suppression, security systems, and network infrastructure in accordance with JLL's mission and values. Apply advanced project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk in high-stakes data center environments.

Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize data center operations, enhance service delivery, and maintain industry-leading uptime standards. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork among technical staff, promoting engagement and empowering team members to excel in mission-critical environments. Coordinate with data center technicians, engineers, and facilities staff to ensure seamless project execution.

Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meet stringent client requirements for data center reliability and performance. Work closely with diverse client stakeholders including IT teams, facilities managers, and C-level executives to ensure minimal impact to critical operations and alignment with business continuity objectives. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for scope expansion and revenue growth within existing data center projects and client relationships.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in data center operations, mission-critical facilities management, or technical services within high-availability environments. Demonstrated expertise with data center infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, HVAC systems, fire suppression, and building management systems.

Strong understanding of data center industry standards, compliance requirements (SOC, HIPAA, PCI), and best practices for mission-critical operations. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that optimize data center performance while maintaining 99.9%+ uptime requirements. Excellent people management skills with experience leading technical teams in 24/7 operational environments.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with technical staff, client IT teams, and executive stakeholders. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to make critical decisions under pressure in time-sensitive, mission-critical situations. Current knowledge of emerging data center technologies, sustainability practices, and industry trends.

Estimated compensation for this position:

160,000.00 – 167,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
