Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects, including partial test cell and facility upgrades, as well as complete test cell projects. This role involves coordinating communication between customers, staff, vendors, subcontractors, and installation personnel.
ResponsibilitiesOversee projects, including partial test cell and facility upgrades, and equipment projects.Assist other Project Managers with complete test cell projects, including construction, manufacturing, installation, integration, and acceptance testing of both internal and third-party equipment.Coordinate communication between customers, staff, vendors, subcontractors, and installation personnel.Manage financial aspects with support from the Finance Department, including contract management and customer relations.Address local issues at foreign and US installations, such as housing, local transportation, procurement, and office management.Participate actively in a continuous improvement culture, providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures.Issue Purchase Order Requisitions and develop Contract Change Requests and Registers.Issue Customer Invoice Requisitions.Participate in design reviews and other internal and external meetings as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum of 15 years of work experience in engineering disciplines involved in project implementation.7+ years of closely related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Project management experience in the aero engine test cell business is highly desirable.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Excellent contract and vendor management skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to integrate project management knowledge areas, including project scope, quality, time, cost, communication, and risk management.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically and internationally.Fluency in French, German, Arabic, Spanish, or Chinese is an advantage.Familiarity with commercial construction practices preferred.Good customer focus, attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities in various stages of completion.Work EnvironmentThis role involves working both onsite at customer sites and in the office. The work may require traveling and staying at various locations for extended periods.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
