As a Senior Project Manager, this dynamic opportunity will have you leading various projects, as required and dictated by business need. The projects that you will lead will primarily be focused on the incorporation of changes to various aviation engineering projects.
You will also have accountability for:
Managing project teams as well as providing support to the Program ManagerManaging Project Costs as well as being accountable for the project budget including reporting.Managing project schedules as well as develop and manage project timelines and deliverables including reporting.Managing project contracts as well as procurement and subcontracts in consultation with Northrop Grumman contracts/subcontracts team.Managing project stakeholders in reference to influencing project direction and outcomes through ongoing engagement with stakeholders (internal and customer) and other project SMEs.Managing project plans in relation to preparing thorough project plans.Managing project governanceProject team leadership as requiredEnsuring that the project is delivered within time, cost, quality and resource constraints.Project risk management.Project Change Management in accordance with NGA proceduresAbout You:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will have an eye for detail and have a strong work ethic. You will also have:Competencies in Project Management in accordance with AIPM Level 3 - Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager (CPSPM)Proven experience in managing high scale/complex projects, or multiple projects concurrently.Ideally experience in managing projects in a Defence environment although not essential5 years or more experience in Project Management demonstrating Advanced Project Management Skills, Organisational Change, Business Acumen and Mentoring/CoachingEngineering or Technical qualification in a related fieldGraduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Project ManagementAIPM Level 3 - Certified Practicing Senior Project Practitioner (CPSPM)The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV2What we Offer:
