We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Compliance team at Marsh. This is a Melbourne or Sydney based role. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Project Manager, GRC implementation
Reporting to MMC Pacific’s Head of Risk Strategy, Governance & Reporting, this role is responsible for completing the end-to-end delivery of the Governance, risk and Compliance (GRC) system implementation for Marsh Pacific.
This role combines strong project management capability with sound knowledge of risk, compliance and control processes to ensure successful deployment of the ServiceNow-based GRC system and ensure that the system is designed and operating per business and regulatory requirements.
The role acts as a key bridge between business risk owners, risk and compliance teams, technology, and external vendors to deliver sustainable GRC solutions that enhance risk management maturity and regulatory outcomes.

We will count on you to:
Lead the continued planning, execution and delivery of GRC system implementation from initiation through to go-live and post-implementation stabilisationDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, dependencies and risksEnsure delivery in line with agreed scope, quality standards, and governance frameworksManage project reporting, milestones and executive-level status updatesApply strong understanding of risk management, compliance obligations, and control frameworks to system design and implementationTranslate risk and compliance requirements into functional system capabilities (e.g. risk registers, controls, issues, incidents etc).Support alignment to regulatory expectations (e.g. APRA, ASIC, ISO or equivalent)Ensure GRC processes are embedded into the system in a practical, scalable and user-centric manner.Engage and manage senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, IT and the businessAct as the primary point of contact for GRC system vendors and implementation partnersWhat you need to have:
Proven experience delivering enterprise GRC system implementationStrong project management experience in complex, regulated environments – preferably financial services.Sound working knowledge of risk management and compliance processesExperience translating regulatory, framework or process requirements into system functionalityExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguityFacilitator of outcomes that take into consideration multiple (and often competing) stakeholder perspectivesExperience working with IT change and release management processes and strong appreciation of software delivery lifecycleStrong delivery focus with attention to detailConfident communicator who is able to influence at all levelsStructured, pragmatic and solutions-orientedComfortable operating between business, risk and technology teams.Why join our team:
