What this job involves:As a Senior Project Manager serving as the dedicated PMO Lead for a key client site. You will act as the central coordination hub between executive leadership, site management, and internal workstream leaders to ensure seamless project delivery and operational excellence. This unique and evolving role requires you to serve as the conduit between the executive director and the onsite leadership team, acting as the eyes and ears of the executive director who is not on site all the time. You'll coordinate with internal client workstream leaders to ensure alignment across all project initiatives and business functions while developing and maintaining project governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
What your day-to-day will look like:Act as the PMO for the site while serving as the conduit between executive director and onsite leadership teamCoordinate with internal client workstream leaders to ensure alignment across all project initiatives and business functionsDevelop and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and methodologiesAid workstream leaders in updates and identify activities across all business functions with dependencies while driving cohesive executionMonitor project portfolios and provide regular status reporting to stakeholdersServe as primary liaison between Executive Director and Site Manager while facilitating communication and decision-making across organizational levelsOversee multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completion ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standardsIdentify and mitigate project risks and issues while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the siteRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field8+ years of project management experience with demonstrated PMO leadershipStrong experience in stakeholder management and executive-level communicationProven track record of managing complex, multi-workstream projectsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProficiency in project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional communication and presentation skillsStrong leadership presence with ability to influence without direct authorityPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the automotive industry strongly recommendedExperience in industrial and/or manufacturing environmentsExperience with change management methodologiesPrevious client-facing or embedded consulting experienceDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining team collaborationAdaptability and flexibility in dynamic environmentLocation:Memphis, TN
