**How will you make a difference?**
The **Sr. Project Engineer** for the KinetiX inspection product line is responsible for defining, developing, and packaging all engineering deliverables required for production, services, or customer delivery. This includes engineering plans, product specifications, bills of materials (BOM), drawings, and site-specific design packages.
This role is central to adapting baseline KinetiX system designs to customer-specific site conditions. The Sr. Project Delivery Engineer works cross-functionally with systems engineering, production, project/program management, and commercial teams to ensure engineering outputs are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
**What will your typical day look like?**
+ **Management of Customer project customization**
+ Be the single source engineering product customization deliverables for customer projects (KinetiX products include baseline design and build, plus customization elements for each system insulation)
+ Coordinate with engineering functions, systems engineering, and project managers to identify product variations, contract commitments to identify and define all engineering deliverable and plan to meet project needs and commitments
+ Participation in tender preparation and review.
+ Manage product or system engineering Bill of Material (BOM) changes from Bid to delivery.
+ **Site Customization & Layout**
+ Review customer-provided site data, CAD files, and engineering documents.
+ Develop or oversee the creation of detailed layout plans for equipment placement, subsystem integration, and installation requirements.
+ Generate engineering packages for installation kits and site preparation.
+ Validate site designs against baseline system requirements, environmental constraints, and constructability.
+ **Engineering Documentation & Configuration**
+ Ensure all engineering outputs comply with internal standards, industry norms, and project-specific requirements.
+ Produce and maintain engineering documents, including specs, drawings, BOMs, interface definitions, and configuration data.
+ Coordinate with production, services, and commercial teams to ensure documentation meets downstream needs.
+ **Project Coordination & Technical Support**
+ Collaborate with internal engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and identify design adjustments.
+ Provide engineering input during design reviews, customer discussions, and preinstallation planning.
+ Support issue resolution throughout the engineering and deployment lifecycle.
+ **Quality Assurance**
+ Validate accuracy and completeness of BOMs, drawings, and engineering packages prior to release.
+ Ensure configuration control of project-specific variations
+ **Continuous Improvement**
+ Identify opportunities to standardize customization processes and reduce engineering cycle time.
+ Contribute to improving documentation templates, processes, and cross-functional workflows.
Qualifications
**What do we want to know about you?**
_Required Qualifications_
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 5+ years of experience in project engineering, system design, or system integration.
+ Strong understanding of industrial automation, electromechanical systems, or inspection technologies.
+ Proficiency with technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
+ Experience with CAD tools for layout planning.
+ Strong organizational skills with experience managing engineering deliverables.
+ Project management training or experience (formal or informal).
_Preferred Skills_
+ Experience with civil works or site-based engineering.
+ Knowledge of BOM creation, configuration control, and change management processes.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
+ Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software).
**Performance Metrics**
+ Accuracy and completeness of engineering deliverables (drawings, BOMs, site layouts).
+ On-time delivery of engineering documentation to Production and Services.
+ Reduction in installation or commissioning issues attributable to engineering preparation.
+ Effective control of configuration and product variations across projects

The salary rate for this role is currently $91100-129800 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
