Job Description:

The Finance Portfolio Management & Governance (PMaG) is part of the Finance Strategy & Transformation team, providing portfolio management, governance and oversight of Finance Change the Bank (CTB) and Run the Bank (RTB) initiatives.
 

Key Accountabilities:

Collaborate with PMaG Lead, members of the project delivery teams and Finance stakeholders to produce all required financial reporting such as monthly summaries, Executive reports and any needed ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Communicates project / program / portfolio financials, etc. to appropriate senior leaders

Owns the accurate reporting of the entire portfolio of projects and programs (i.e., data quality) in the bank’s enterprise reporting system (Clarity)

Contributes to the holistic and aggregated cost estimates and general financial management, incorporating risk, for the portfolio

Provides oversight for the forecasting and management of budgets across multiple projects / programs in alignment with Finance standards

Oversees overall program / portfolio financial reporting and manages escalated financial issues

Contributes to annual Fiscal Planning process

 

Job Requirements:

Undergraduate degree

5+ years of relevant experience 

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing concise business messages, documents, creating impactful presentations, and presenting analysis to management and senior executives

Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously, strong project management, reporting, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to participate in complex, comprehensive or large projects and initiatives.

Business/technology experience with experience collaborating with others in highly matrix, cross-functional environment.

Strong understanding of Project/Program delivery at TD, with a focus on project and portfolio financial management

Must be proficient with technology tools including MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, Clarity

Organizational awareness and sensitivity

Solution oriented, with ability to navigate the organization and make assessments and decisions with sometimes vague, incomplete, or partial context/parameters

Independent thinker with exceptional analytical skills and strong business acumen

High degree of personal initiative, with strong influencing and leadership skills

Must be comfortable working in a hybrid environment; 2 days per week in office, subject to change in the future.
