Senior Program Manager – Vendor Relationship Management
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and deliver multiple vendor program portfolios for relationship management in collaboration with sponsors and strategic partners. This role requires strategic thinking, operational execution, relationship building, negotiation, and influence to meet Enterprise Technology and Security objectives.
Program efforts typically include multiple parallel projects, subject matter experts, managers, and key stakeholders. These vendor relationship management initiatives can significantly impact business economics and strategic plans. The role involves managing substantial funding, addressing moderately complex business challenges, and engaging in multidisciplinary vendor oversight within a larger portfolio. Comprehensive knowledge of the firm and its key functions is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide program vendor oversight and stakeholder management, including engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships, and managing expectationsServe as the primary contact for strategic cloud vendors and internal business partners for all contract and relationship requirementsAct as an advisor and representative for both the business and strategic partnersManage multiple contracts with comprehensive understanding and accountabilityLead cloud vendor relationship management, including contract negotiations and renewals for AWS, Azure, GCP, and other platformsPartner with sourcing and finance teams to evaluate cloud spend, optimize cost structures, and ensure alignment with strategic goalsAct as liaison between the enterprise and strategic cloud vendorsOversee cloud service delivery contracts, ensuring compliance with service levels, OKRs, and scope of servicesAlign vendor capabilities with long-term business objectivesRecurring Activities
Partner with Sourcing to ensure statements of work are fit for purpose and align with agreed roles and ratesCollaborate with Risk Management to manage overall vendor third- and fourth-party risks for onshore and offshore locationsWork with Finance to evaluate spend for capital, operating expenses, and vendor creditsManage vendor performance, service level adherence, and remediation when necessaryEnsure contractual compliance and performance reporting for cloud vendors in accordance with third-party requirementsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience requiredAbility to communicate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all management levelsExperience working with delivery vendor partners with onshore and offshore contractual relationshipsVendor relationship management of over $50MM annually in contract oversightExperience managing high-value critical service contracts preferredAbility to work independently, solve problems, and escalate issues appropriatelyExperience in a regulated industry preferredFamiliarity with cloud pricing models, licensing structures, and vendor offeringsPay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location and relevant skills and experience.
