As a Senior Program Manager, you will be the leader, driving delivery in a government client consulting environment. You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a federal government contracting Salesforce environment. 

Steampunk is seeking someone who is a technical, creative, hands-on expert with

delivering innovative technology solutions. Ideal candidates will thrive working with clients in a consultative capacity and will have experience managing teams of technical personnel to build Salesforce systems.

Contributions

Responsibilities will include:

leadership of teams for the complete lifecycle of solution development and deployment, from hands-on proposal technical support to prototyping client implementations and complete production deploymentThis individual will ensure effective end-to-end solution design, to include integration with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutionsThis role involves managing complex projects and programs, building strong relationships and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with government regulationsThe individual will serve as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and leadership, driving successful outcomes while adhering to contract terms, timelines, and budgets

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology and 14+ years of experience or equivalent education and/or experienceProven background in federal government contracting and project managementPMP Certification10+ Years in Program and Project Management10+ Years experience with technologyAbility to get a Federal ClearanceProficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Project, Word)Experience leading Salesforce implementations in federal government contracting environmentsLeadership. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work outProven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom software solutions in client environmentDemonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problemsExperience defining and communicating program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholdersExperience developing detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management strategiesExperience generating executive-level reports and dashboards on program health, milestones, and financial performanceExperience using data-driven insights to identify areas of improvement and recommend optimizationsProven experience growing and selling, while deliveringExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skillsStrong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityProven team player and team builderStrong organizational and analytical skillsKnowledge of government procurement processes, contracts (e.g., GSA schedules, IDIQ), and compliance standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS)Experience with managing budgets, task orders, and subcontractor relationshipsProven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

 

Preferred

Masters Degree, preferably in Information Technology and 12+ years of experience or equivalent education and/or experienceScrum Master certificationFederal ClearanceExperience with Human-Centered Design About steampunk

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
