What this job involves:
As the Senior Program Manager you are expected to take total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a global program of capital works projects from initial planning through to engagement of in-country project resources and oversight of delivery. Projects are typically technical in nature and largely involve base building services, fabric and finishes upgrades up to the value of AUD 15 million in both commercial and residential properties. The role requires a global mindset, cultural awareness and highly effective communication to drive project excellence across multiple locations simultaneously.
You have a responsibility as a leader to contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching in all aspects of capital works project management
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish Program budget in accordance with client requirements. Manage and forecast expenditure to achieve completion within budget. Establish a detailed overall programme that sets clear milestones and objectives to ensure successful Program delivery. Preparation of PCG (Project Control Group) reports and lead PCG meetings with client executive-level stakeholders. RFP (Request for Proposal) preparation, scope writing and tendering to procure local (in-country / region) project managers to deliver projectsLead a global team of project managers, providing direction to achieve the clients desired outcomes while implementing Australian best practices in Asset Management, HSE and Procurement.Lead value engineering, buildability analysis, and assist in critically reviewing the design and documentation to minimize risk and maximize outcomes. Accountable for contract administration, ensuring contracts with clients, consultants and suppliers are properly executed and maintained. Direct contract administration of all vendors in accordance with legal requirements to protect commercial interests of our client and Jones Lang LaSalle.KEY SKILLS

A degree in a relevant Project or Construction Management related discipline or related field and ten (10) years of experience or a combination of formal education and experience in excess of twelve (12) years, seven of which must be related to Design, Construction, or Project Management.
