Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects across multiple verticals. The ideal candidate will combine extensive project management expertise with strong analytical capabilities and innovative thinking to lead strategic initiatives from conception to completion. Key responsibilities include scoping and creating project plans, developing processes for supply chain and transportation networks, coordinating across teams, tracking timelines, and effectively communicating status, risks, and business challenges to senior management. Ideal candidate must be adept at executive presentation skills, deep analytical capabilities, and demonstrated ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead complex, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives in supply chain and transportation networks, operating effectively in highly ambiguous business environments.
* Define and shape program vision and strategy, translating high-level business objectives into executable roadmaps across multiple workstreams.
* Drive organizational transformation by identifying opportunities for process optimization and developing scalable solutions that anticipate future business needs.
* Build and influence cross-functional coalitions at the director and VP level to align priorities and secure resources for critical initiatives.
* Architect and implement governance frameworks for multi-million dollar program portfolios, ensuring strategic alignment and risk management.
* Synthesize complex data points into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision making at the executive level.
* Lead change management initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations and driving adoption of new processes across global teams.
* Proactively identify potential roadblocks and dependencies across interconnected programs, developing mitigation strategies before issues materialize.
* Structure and facilitate executive-level discussions and decision-making processes, driving alignment on complex trade-offs.
* Design and implement program measurement frameworks that connect operational metrics to strategic business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation Logistics, or related field
- Experience with end to end project delivery
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience with SQL databases and data querying capabilities along with advanced visualization looks like tableau and QuickSight.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
