As a Senior Product Owner, you will work in partnership with the rest of the product team, our development partners and all relevant groups across CIBC. Utilizing your knowledge and experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, combined with your knowledge and passion for direct investing, wealth management and brokerage, you will be leading, initiating, and seeing through to completion changes to our client facing online product to create an industry leading product and exceptional client experiences. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $92,490 to $127,200. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. Work with product vendors and manage vendor relationships ensuring quality deliverables. + **Strategic & Innovative Thinking -** Own / drive / present the product vision & roadmap to ensure the company and clients’ needs are addressed. Assess the impact of delivered features in achieving their desired goals. Decide what to build and what not to build, translating the strategic plan into tactical execution + **Planning & Implementation -** Own the product backlog, ensuring the backlog is prioritized, cleaned and refined. Work with stakeholders to plan releases that are aligned with overall corporate goals. Write, modify and validate user stories. Be an active Scrum team member for key day-to-day activities, such as UAT, clarifying requirements, sharing the business value around features and participating in all Scrum events. Provide post-release education via demos, release notes and other documentation.
