Senior Product Marketing Manager - Mid-Market GTM (P3)
Job Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Mailchimp PMM team to architect our mid-market win strategy. You will be the authority on why mid-market buyers switch to Mailchimp and the engine behind the positioning and messaging for our E2E Sales and ABM plays. This role will translate competitive gaps and win/loss data into "battle-ready" messaging and claims that empower our field teams to win.


Responsibilities

Messaging & Positioning StrategyE2E Narrative Ownership: Develop and maintain the foundational messaging hierarchy for Mid-Market plays. You will ensure that every touchpoint—from an ABM ad to a Sales pitch—is anchored in a consistent, differentiated value proposition.Messaging Testing & Optimization: Partner with the ABM team to test messaging in-market. Use "Win/Loss" signals to continuously refine positioning, ensuring we are leaning into the differentiators that actually close deals.Narrative Continuity: Ensure that the "Outbound" story told by Sales matches the "Inbound" experience on .com and within the product, creating a seamless journey for the prospect.

Win/Loss Program Leadership

Systematize win/loss analysis by synthesizing data from Gong, Salesforce, and direct buyer interviews. Ensure insights get shared with the right stakeholders across Sales, Marketing and Product. 

Claims Strategy & Social Proof Management

Claim Architecture: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Mailchimp’s mid-market claims. Partner with Product Analytics and Legal to substantiate and approve impactful data points that drive credibility.

Governance: Manage the global claims repository, ensuring all marketing and sales assets are compliant, up-to-date, and strategically aligned with our IC.


Qualifications

6–8+ years in B2B Product Marketing: Extensive experience in mid-market SaaS with a focus on GTM strategy.

Expert Messaging & Positioning: Proven ability to build differentiated messaging hierarchies.

Win/Loss Program Leadership: Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data (Gong, Salesforce) into actionable strategic insights.

Claims & Evidence Management: Skilled at navigating Marketing, Analytics, and Legal workflows to substantiate and manage a global claims repository.

Analytical Tech Stack Fluency: Proficiency in using tools like Gong, Salesforce, and Seismic.

Stakeholder Diplomacy: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leadership and simplify complex data into winning narratives.
