What You'll Do Avalara is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead our 1099, W9 and Business Licenses products. You will need to create a marketing strategy and product/solution position, to execution on messaging and measurement. You will work with product management, sales, and marketing to create go-to-market content and strategies that move the needle. You will develop detailed knowledge of these products, working to create a comprehensive go-to-market plan and communicate details about our unique value in the tax compliance market. This is a fully remote position reporting to our Manager, Product Marketing #LI-Remote What Your Responsibilities Will Be You will collaborate with Product Management to distill important functionality and benefits for upcoming features into product marketing messages. You will engage with Revenue Marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption-focused marketing campaigns. You will develop compelling audience-specific messages and presentations, customer success stories, and videos. You will develop creative product marketing activities that reach target audiences. You will work with sales to ready our general and specialized sales teams on our value propositions and messaging. You will deliver presentations to internal and external audiences (analysts, customers, conference sessions, and third-party, public events) on Avalara's compliance platform. What You'll Need to be Successful 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training, or product marketing/management 5+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or a relevant field of studies such as computer science Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products Avalara is an AI-first Company AI is embedded in our workflows, decision-making, and products.
