Senior Product Manager, Strategic Insights, GREF – Global Transformation & Insights (GTI)
Description Within Amazon, The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for creating the spaces that inspire Amazonians to make history. The globally diverse team manages Amazon’s corporate offices in more than 60 countries. GREF provides real estate transactions expertise, business partnering, space and occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management, facility maintenance, and operations all contributing to the employee experience and leveraging places and programs to enable culture to thrive at Amazon. This role is focused on transformation - leading some of the most ambiguous, complex, and strategic programs across GREF. In this role you will play a pivotal role in developing new capabilities, activating strategic initiatives, developing PRFAQs, and reimagining and reinventing processes in close partnership with cross-functional teams. We are seeking a self-motivated, ownership-minded, and nimble Senior Product Manager to be a force-multiplier for our Global Transformation + Insights team, amplifying our efforts and impact. Key job responsibilities • Partner with GTI and broader GREF leadership to scope, activate, and drive initiatives and solutions. Apply analytics, research insights and strategic thinking to work backwards from the customer, apply Learn and Be Curious to fully understand and dimensionalize a problem statement, provide recommendations on scope and resourcing, and develop and execute roadmaps to lead times from "as-is" to the ideal "to-be" state • Contribute to key project decision-making, including: insights coordination, customer journey mapping, requirements gathering, roadmap development, resource allocation, process design, coordination of teams and reviews • Lead GTI delivery in partnership with functional leads. Remove obstacles, coordinate reviews with stakeholders and leadership, communicate team status • Define and own business metrics and customer experience improvements • Act as a bridge between GREF and other stakeholder teams - potentially partnering across global and regional teams ranging from Customer Insights, to Creative, to Finance, to Design & Construction, to Occupancy Planning • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance the customer needs versus business goals and technical constraints • Implement durable and repeatable processes • Create comprehensive PRFAQs and strategy documents that clearly articulate product vision and business impact Define success metrics and be responsible for ensuring their implementation and identifying supporting system and reporting requirements are in place to enable • Promote a sense of transparency, visibility, and community among our teams • Navigate and prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast-paced environment Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field - Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions - Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of product management tools and methodologies - Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management - Experience in areas such as market research, statistics, finance or qualitative/quantitative research - Experience in using statistical analysis to identify issues or opportunities for improvement Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
