We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager for Spectra, our flagship ML-powered sourcing program across EU. Spectra is a sourcing program comprised of bulk buys and auctions: vendors benefit from security of advanced buys and improved consolidation/delivery economics, while Amazon secures greater availability and savings for customers.
We are looking for a person who will thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment and create and deliver the next generation of the product. This role is ideal for someone with strong program and stakeholder management skills who wants to deepen their commercial and product ownership capabilities. You will gain broad exposure to cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and international vendors. It is an excellent foundation for future leadership roles in product or business.
Key job responsibilities
- Own one of Amazon’s largest sourcing programs in Europe, spanning Hardlines, Softlines and Consumables.
- Drive innovation across key marketplaces, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, in partnership with Retail, Tech, and Operations.
- Define and execute product strategy for our flagship Spectra bulk-buy and auction platform.
- Work closely with Amazon vendors to understand their needs, improve outcomes, and strengthen adoption.
- Partner with engineering and science teams to develop scalable solutions using machine learning and AI.
- Set clear goals, establish mechanisms for delivery, and track performance through data and KPIs.
- Influence senior leaders through compelling insights and data-driven storytelling.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in supply chain and demand planning to drive innovation within the vendor planning and logistics space.
Basic Qualifications
- 4-8 years working in program management, product management, or supply chain roles – ideally in a fast paced, cross-functional environment.
- University degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, business or related areas.
- A track record of delivering results through collaboration, influence, and structured planning.
- High proficiency working with data (SQL, Excel) and communicating insights to diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to broaden your commercial or product leadership skills over time.
- Experience engaging with external partners or vendors is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in FMCG, online retail, consulting or logistics.
- Experience partnering with technical teams or working on machine learning–based products.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Supply Chain or related field) is a plus.
