As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead the creation and delivery of delightful, user-centric experiences for people worldwide. You'll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product managers and some of the world's best designers & researchers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
You’ll join our Earner Design team, focusing specifically on Engagement, creating experiences for all of our drivers and couriers. In this role, you will design data-driven tools that empower Earners to analyze their performance and optimize their earning strategies to reach full potential. Your work helps those who need it most: millions of drivers use Uber to meet financial needs at all points on the continuum, from putting food on the table, to generating spending money during grad school, to saving for a special vacation.

01. Own design problems end-to-end, from initial concept through launch
02. Create wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to solve complex UX problems
03. Design systems to create simple, elegant experiences, working with cross-function product stakeholders to define requirements, not just translate them to design
04. Identify future product and design opportunities, working as a critical thought partner to your counterparts in Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Operations
05. Present work in various mediums and fidelities throughout the design process
06. Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise our bar for quality
07. Partner with our UX research team to understand the needs of our customers and integrate findings into design approaches
08. Brainstorm, critique, and iterate with your Design colleagues
09. Engage in points of collaboration with Product Management, Data Science, Product Marketing, and Engineering to build your designs
10. Ship, measure, and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback
\-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ----
1. 5+ years of experience designing mobile products
2. Proficiency with Figma or similar tools and prototyping methods
3. Strong visual design and an eye for details
4. Experience working and collaborating in a tech environment
5. Solid communication and storytelling skills
6. A portfolio showing your high-quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
\-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ----
01. Experience leading product design projects end to end
02. Exceptional UX, Interaction Design, and Prototyping skills
03. Robust UI/Visual Design skills with a focus on Micro-Interactions
04. Proficiency in using the latest tools to build designs and prototypes as well as a strong desire to learn new ones
05. Experience designing complex tools for enterprise or consumer applications - building on Android, iOS, and web products
06. Experience working on systems or service design
07. Strong written and verbal communication skills
08. Strong presentation and storytelling skills
09. Ability to manage stakeholders, requirements, and deliverables independently
10. Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles.
11. Experience working and collaborating with teams in a multifaceted, rapid-growth environment
12. Ability to articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team
13. A degree in HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field
