As a Senior Product Associate in Data and Analytics, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
 Job responsibilitiesPartners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discoveryConsiders and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experienceSupports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customersAnalyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycleWrites the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product developmentStay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in data modeling, knowledge graph technologies, metadata management, and data architecturePromote adherence to industry standards for data ontology (e.g., RDF, OWL) and semantic modelingDefines and tracks product metrics to measure success and provide insights to stakeholders on product adoption and performanceWrites and maintains epics and stories in JIRA, evaluating readiness and outcomes, and proceeding with additional iterations, develop and prioritize a product backlog, and lead collaborative scrum events (backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospectives) Establishes relationships with supporting partners to provide insight into upcoming changes and identify their interoperability and migration requirements, risks, and impediments as early as possibleRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaProficient knowledge of the product development life cycleExperience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definitionDeveloping knowledge of data analytics and data literacyFoundational understanding of data modeling concepts (conceptual, logical, and physical modeling)Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to translate technical concepts into business valueHighly collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving complex initiatives forwardExcellent oral and written communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management; ability to synthesize large amounts of information, summarize key concepts and articulate relevant issues to senior managementPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPractical experience in modern data processing technologies, e.g., Kafka streaming, DBT, Spark, Airflow, etc.Exposure to metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance frameworksKnowledge of data modeling patterns for analytical and operational use cases
