Senior Process Development Engineer

We are partnering with a medical device manufacturer to hire a Senior Process Development Engineer who will provide technical leadership in the development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes. This role partners closely with customers and cross-functional teams to bring new products and processes from concept through production.

Job Title:  Senior Process Development Engineer
Location:  Arden Hills, MN
Salary:  100-125k
 

What You’ll Do

Lead development and evaluation of new and improved manufacturing processes to improve yield, throughput, and manufacturability

Translate customer, user, and patient needs into robust, scalable process solutions

Drive process design, risk assessments (pFMEA/DFMEA), DOE, and capability studies

Own process documentation, including manufacturing procedures, BOMs, and routers

Lead verification and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, MVP) and qualification planning

Serve as technical lead on projects, supporting quoting, timelines, and resource planning

Collaborate directly with customers and internal teams; lead process-focused customer meetings

Mentor engineers and potentially lead small teams or projects

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

6+ years of engineering experience in the medical device industry

Strong background in process development, validation, and regulated manufacturing

Experience working cross-functionally and directly with customers

Ability to lead projects and provide technical mentorship
