We are seeking either a Principal Software Configuration Analyst or Senior Principal Software Configuration Analyst to support our Software and Infrastructure team on the Phoenix program. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.
Core responsibilities:
Manage and control the COTS software products, which includes acquisition, tracking, usage monitoring, ensuring compliance with license agreements, renewals, and retirementInterface with the Cybersecurity Team to ensure COTS software products are compliant with cybersecurity requirementsPrepare the contract deliverable Software Resources Data Report (SRDR)Perform Software Configuration Management functions, which include facilitating the Configuration Control Board, perform change and release management, status accounting and version control, and generate software builds and software version description documentsThis requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Software Configuration Analyst: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's' in STEM; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhDSenior Principal Software Configuration Analyst: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's in STEM; 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's' in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with a PhDTop Secret clearance at time of application, and the ability to obtain SCI and SAP accessExperience with software development lifecycle and processesExperience with software configuration management processes, source control, branching strategies and semantic versioningExperience with and comprehensive understanding of software development and configuration management tools (i.e., Linux, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, ClearQuest, Git, Collaborator)Ability to work independently, multi-task, and complete tasks timelyAbility to collaborate with fellow team members, cross-organizational teams, and management

Experience with continuous improvement of processesExperience with Agile developmentExperience with DevOpsAbility to identify the needs to achieve build automation; experience designing and implementing CI/CD solutionsUnderstanding of EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, AS9100, and related standardsExperience as a License Manager, working with external vendors and cross-functional teamsSalary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00Salary Range 2: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
