Role Summary:

The Strategic Planning Senior Principal is responsible for driving the development, execution, and governance of enterprise‑level strategic initiatives that advance the company’s long‑term direction and priorities aligned with our Lead to One strategy. This role enables cross‑functional workstreams to translate the enterprise strategic framework into clear, actionable roadmaps, ensuring alignment, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes across the organization.

As a key advisor and integrator, the Strategic Planning Senior Principal partners with executive leadership, business units, functional heads, and transformation teams to accelerate strategic momentum, remove barriers, and ensure consistent progress toward the company’s future‑state vision focused on our 4 Enterprise priorities and 5 Enabler priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development, refinement, and implementation of multi‑year enterprise strategic priorities.

Translate high‑level strategic direction into structured workstream plans with clear milestones, performance indicators, and resource requirements.

Facilitate alignment across business units, ensuring consistency and clarity around enterprise strategic goals.

Establish disciplined operating routines—including progress reviews, executive updates, and issue/risk management forums—to ensure smooth execution.

Remove barriers, resolve interdependencies, and maintain momentum across all strategic initiatives.

Provide decision support to senior leadership, highlighting trade‑offs, risks, opportunities, and strategic implications.

Drive organizational understanding and adoption of enterprise strategic priorities.

Partner with Communications, HR, and SBUs to cascade strategy effectively across business units.

Develop high‑impact executive presentations, strategic narratives, and Board‑level materials that synthesize complex information clearly and concisely.

Build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders across the enterprise in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or accreditation (MBA, CPA, FSA, etc.) preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in finance, strategic planning, or enablement, ideally within healthcare or a related industry.

Proven ability to lead large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.

Excellent stakeholder management with a proven track record of influencing senior executives.  Experience working directly with Executive Leadership Teams is preferred.

Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated executive presence.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information.

Exceptional business acumen and a deep understanding of P&L dynamics, growth levers, and operational efficiency.
