Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Presales Systems Engineer to join the HPE Networking team, now strengthened by the integration of Aruba and Juniper Networks. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, driving adoption of advanced networking solutions across enterprise and public sector environments. You will leverage your deep networking expertise to design architectures, lead technical engagements, and influence strategic decisions. This role will be supporting the Los Angeles region.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on HPE Networking solutions, including Aruba wired/wireless, ClearPass, Central, Juniper switching, routing, security, and automation.Presales Engagement: Partner with account teams to understand customer requirements, deliver technical presentations, and create compelling solution proposals.Solution Architecture: Design complex networking solutions that align with customer business objectives and technical requirements.Proof of Concept (POC): Lead POCs and solution validation activities to demonstrate value and performance.Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging innovations; share insights with customers and internal teams.Partner Enablement: Support channel partners with technical training and solution positioning.Required QualificationsExperience:7+ years in networking or IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a presales or customer-facing technical role.Proven experience designing and presenting enterprise networking solutions.Technical Skills:Deep knowledge of network design principles, routing/switching, wireless, security, and SD-WAN.Familiarity with cloud-managed networking, automation, and AI-driven operations.Certifications: Aruba, Juniper, or equivalent industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP) strongly preferred.Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.Location: Candidates must reside within the greater Los Angeles region and have the ability to travel to customer sites throughout the Los Angeles region on a regular basis.Preferred QualificationsExperience with competitive networking solutions and ability to articulate differentiation.Understanding of SLED environments and procurement processes.Knowledge of network automation frameworks and integration with cloud platforms.Why Join Us?Be part of a market-leading networking business combining Aruba and Juniper innovation.Work on cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of enterprise networking.Competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities.Additional Skills:
