We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plumbing Designer with expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting applications to create and produce drawings and 3D models of advanced complexity. This role requires proficiency in reading, interpreting, and generating design drawings with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have the ability to walk down field systems, interpret field direction, and generate advanced design details.
ResponsibilitiesOriginate and produce drawings and 3D models of advanced complexity using CAD and drafting applications.Read, interpret, and generate design drawings with minimal supervision.Walk down field systems, interpret field direction, and create advanced design details.Direct, check, and approve work performed by other designers.Develop estimates, schedules, staff projections, progress reports, and key quantitative tracking.Contribute to defining the project scope of services and facilities.Essential SkillsProficiency in S3D modeling and 3D modeling.Expertise in creating isometric drawings.Extensive experience in plumbing design.Experience in drafting related to engineering and construction, with over 15 years preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates Degree preferred.Experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural, fire protection, and plumbing fields.Experience in the nuclear industry is preferred.Work EnvironmentThis position involves working with advanced CAD technologies and requires excellent attention to detail and precision. The role may involve site visits and fieldwork to interpret field directions and create design details. The work environment is fast-paced and requires collaboration with various engineering and design teams.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
