OVERVIEW:
A Senior Performance Specialist manages a portfolio of clients and digital media campaigns across multiple platforms. They drive digital strategy from campaign planning and execution to optimisation, analysis, and reporting. Acting as a technical expert, they provide guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring campaigns deliver measurable business results. The role is client-facing and works closely with Client Services, Media Managers, Data & Analytics teams, and other stakeholders.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?
As part of the Paid Media team for the MENA market, you will specialise in Paid Performance Media, delivering digital campaign strategies across channels such as Google Ads, Meta, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and others. You will leverage Looker Studio, GA4, and at least one GMP product (CM360, DV360, SA360) to support effective campaign activation, integration, and measurement.
You will partner with key regional clients to help achieve their business and marketing goals through campaign strategy, optimisation, and data-driven insights.

PLACE WITHIN ORGANISATION
+ Reports to the Paid Media Team Lead
+ Closely interacts with Client Service Team, and Implementation & Delivery Teams.
+ Works closely with Platform Partners, ie. Google, Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok etc., to stay ahead of tech, gain access to betas & conferences etc.
WORKING HOURS:
This role follows standard Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While most clients operate on a Sunday-Thursday schedule, the successful candidate will primarily work Monday-Friday. On rare occasions, individuals may be asked to provide support outside these hours (e.g., a Sunday) if required.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE (MUST-HAVE)
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in paid media campaign management including strategy, optimisation and reporting.
+ Proven ability to work independently, managing complex client accounts and campaigns
+ Strong client relationship skills with a track record of delivering business results
+ Experience in creating strategic roadmaps and advising clients on digital media strategies.
+ Hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and optimising Google search campaigns; experience with Microsoft Ads or Apple Search is advantageous
+ Experience with lead generation campaigns and KPIs-driven performance campaigns
+ Hands-on experience with at least one GMP tool (CM360, DV360, SA360)
+ Proficiency in GA4 and Looker Studio, including dashboard creation and reporting
+ Strong strategic analysis and advisory skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
+ Deep knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, ad technologies, and media landscape
+ Experience with website tracking setup, testing, and analytics to support campaign measurement
+ Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic buying, ad technologies, cross-channel solutions, and the broader media landscape.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, including preparing forecasts, reports, and client presentations
+ Highly motivated, goal-oriented, collaborative team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
+ Native or bilingual proficiency in English; understanding of Arabic is advantageous.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE - ADVANTAGEOUS
+ Advanced feed management and optimisation for data-driven campaigns or Dynamic Product Listings (DPL)
+ Experience with Facebook Marketing Partners and similar tools (e.g., Smartly, Nanigans) to maximise campaign efficiency
+ Knowledge of 3rd-party tracking and attribution solutions (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar)
+ Strong mobile and app marketing experience, including app analytics, measurement, and optimisation with Firebase
+ Familiarity with emerging ad technologies and trends

Client Strategy & Relationship Management
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
+ Act as the client's performance media expert, providing strategic guidance and acting as an extension of their team.
+ Develop strategic roadmaps and media plans to help clients achieve business and marketing goals.
+ Provide insights and recommendations to optimise client investment and improve overall campaign performance.
Campaign Planning & Implementation
+ Create, set up, and manage campaigns across search, display, social, and programmatic channels according to best practices.
+ Conduct thorough research to inform campaign setup, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
+ Ensure all campaigns are implemented error-free and aligned with signed-off client strategies.
+ Audit existing accounts and campaigns to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
Campaign Optimisation & Performance Management
+ Monitor and optimise campaigns to maximise performance, efficiency, and ROI.
+ Analyse cross-channel performance, understand channel interactions, and provide strategic feedback.
+ Perform daily and monthly reporting, tracking revenue, KPIs, and pacing against client goals.
+ Ensure accurate reporting of revenues and media costs.
Technical Expertise & Problem Solving
+ Troubleshoot campaign issues across all paid platforms and provide actionable solutions.
+ Apply technical expertise to improve tracking, reporting, and campaign execution.
