CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Pega Production Support Engineer position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties: Provide L2/L3 production support for Pega applications across versions 7 through 8.x. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to performance, availability, and stability in Pega environments. Utilize Pega tools such as AES, PDC, and Pega logs to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Support Pega Cloud environments, ensuring adherence to SLAs and operational best practices. Perform application and infrastructure monitoring using tools such as Instana and Grafana. Support application servers including WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and JBoss. Execute SQL queries and analyze database performance using DB Visualizer or similar tools. Work within UNIX/Linux environments for application support, log analysis, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes. Participate in on-call rotations and support activities as required. Required Skills: Pega versions 7 through 8.x with strong production support experience Pega Cloud Pega AES and PDC Pega log analysis and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux SQL DB Visualizer (or similar database tools) Instana and Grafana WebSphere Application Server (WAS) JBoss Nice to Have Skills: Shell scripting Java SOAP/REST APIs Automation tools such as Ansible, JMeter, Selenium, or similar Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Pega applications in a production environment. Proven experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting for enterprise applications. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
