What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Senior Painter & Finishes Tech works together with a team of people who combined are responsible for maintaining painted, stained, vinyl covered, and faux finished surfaces as well as furniture throughout the property, both inside and out. The tasks for the Senior Painter & Finishes Tech will also include performing various work orders for preventive maintenance on property. The Senior Painter & Finishes Tech is also responsible for mentoring other techs as well as Aesthetic oriented members of the facilities team.

Availability: 3rd Shift
Payrate: $24.50 + $1 Shift Differential
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Serve as the property expert on all finishes and painting.
Finish/refinish all surfaces on property to maintain “as new” appearance. Finishes include but are not limited to paint, faux, vinyl, stained, tiled surfaces.
Identifying and matching paint and stain colors.
Resolves work requests for both internal and external guests, producing quality results in an efficient manner.
Coach and mentor other Techs and provide them with knowledge and experience to help enhance their skills.
Audit and inspect work of other techs and provide feedback, if needed.
Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

What are we looking for?
Expert experience in drywall repair and paint, wood, metal and other surfaces using rollers, brushes and spray gun required.
Proficient in refinishing woodwork requiring staining, varnishing, and lacquering.
Experience in faux finishes highly preferred.
Experience in wallcovering hang and repair preferred.
Experience in tile install and grout preferred.
Ability to use tools associated with the trade, such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.
Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
Compensation:
