This role will require up to 25% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects. ​

As a Senior Paid Media Specialist at Medtronic, you will be pivotal in planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various digital platforms. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that maximize our online presence, drive quality traffic, and deliver a strong return on investment (ROI). Your expertise in paid advertising, data analysis, and continuous optimization will contribute to the success of our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities 

Paid Media Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies that align with business goals and objectives. This includes managing budgets, selecting appropriate platforms, and setting campaign objectives. 

Campaign Management: Create, launch, and monitor paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more. Optimize campaigns for maximum performance and ROI. 

Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and create targeted, high-performing ad campaigns. 

Ad Copy and Creative Development: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy and visuals that resonate with the target audience and drive conversions. 

Budget Management: Monitor and manage advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet campaign goals. 

Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze campaign performance data, generate reports, and provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics. 

A/B Testing: Implement A/B tests to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign elements for better results. 

Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats. Adjust strategies accordingly. 

Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other marketing teams, including SEO, content, and social media, to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing approach.

Adherence to Policies: Ensure that all paid media activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

At least 4 years of experience in paid media management with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years with a Master's degree

Must have proficiency in digital advertising platforms specifically SEM with Bing and Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Adobe Ad Cloud and LinkedIn Ads. 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. Master's degree a plus. 

4-7 years of experience in paid media management, with a strong track record of achieving measurable results. 

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Adept at staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies. 

Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) are a plus.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$85,600.00 - $128,400.00

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
