**Role Summary:**
The Senior Operations Engineer serves as a strategic leader in designing, implementing, and optimizing fulfillment and engineering solutions across Radial’s North American network. This role is responsible for driving high-impact initiatives, including large-scale client launches, automation projects, and capital investments, while ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency. The Senior Operations Engineer will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, mentor junior engineers as needed, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions that enhance scalability and performance. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead complex projects in a fast-paced, evolving eCommerce environment.
**Responsibilities:**
· Lead and oversee multiple, simultaneous client/fulfillment center launches, varying in complexity, including facility design, system and equipment installations, and ensuring adherence to safety and cost-efficiency standards.
· Drive strategic initiatives for automation, process optimization, and scalability across multiple fulfillment centers.
· Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for high-impact projects such as client onboarding, client moves/migrations, capacity enhancements, and technology implementations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on the engineering team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams as needed.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to develop CapEx proposals, manage budgets, and deliver ROI-driven solutions for capital investments.
· Partner with technology teams to design optimal WMS configurations and integrate advanced systems for operational efficiency.
· Conduct in-depth operational and financial analyses, including forecasting, productivity modeling, and profitability assessments for new and existing clients.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to standardize processes and enhance performance.
· Design and optimize layouts in AutoCAD for complex business solutions and large-scale implementations.
· Support strategic sales efforts by participating in client joint planning sessions and providing operational expertise during pre-signature activities.

**Qualifications:**
· Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of 7+ years of experience in fulfillment engineering and project management within a distribution or warehousing environment, preferably B2C and B2B fulfillment environments.
· Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and delivering innovative solutions in high-volume operations.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets) and AutoCAD.
· Strong expertise in WMS systems, especially Manhattan; SQL experience highly desirable.
· Strong experience with MOST modeling, Lean Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
· Demonstrated ability to standardize work processes, build operational procedures, and drive measurable improvements.
· Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong business acumen in order fulfillment, distribution, and eCommerce environments.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
**Travel:**
+ This position is remote.
+ Regional travel is required for this role (approximately 50%) by land and/or air
