You’ll collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure seamless care throughout each patient’s treatment journey Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for oncology patients.Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other complex IV medications using established safety and aseptic protocols.Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions, initiating timely interventions as necessary.Coordinate care and communication among physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members.Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and symptom management, adapting teaching styles for comprehension and comfort.Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families navigating cancer treatment.Lead or participate in quality and safety initiatives that advance oncology nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.Serve as a mentor and advocate for other nurses, promoting professional growth and ethical clinical practice.Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record to ensure accurate, integrated care delivery.Support providers during procedures and assist with telephone triage as needed.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)At least five (5) years of RN experience, including oncology nursing experienceCurrent Texas RN license (or temporary permit with permanent license obtained within 90 days)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationOncology Nursing Certification Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferredAmbulatory oncology experience is preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred Advanced certifications such as ACLS, chemotherapy administration, or moderate sedation is preferredBenefits and Perks:$80,230-$110,000Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementTRS Retirement PlanYour New Organization:Be part of a mission-driven team advancing cancer care through compassion, innovation, and excellence.  Apply today to explore the opportunity that best aligns with your experience and goals!Your Career Partner: The Reserves Network, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
