Based in Manassas VA, your team is fully responsible for the design, optimization, deployment and support of the Data Center Network and security aspects. This Agile team engages in product evolution, covering network architecture and design, development, configuration, quality assurance, security, operations, and IT infrastructure aspects. You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across three continents. We have global reach and impact but operate fast. What to Expect:


In this role you will: 

Work with the Product Owner and Squad members to develop, test, configure, upgrade and maintain Datacenter Network Infrastructure in line with agreed requirementsWork with your team to implement and operate your solutionsDeploy Network Infrastructure and Life Cycle management according to our change management processesCollaborate with our internal and external customers following DevOps/Agile principles and best practicesAssist in developing and maintaining technical documentationInteract and collaborate with other internal teams to ensure excellent customer satisfactionManage issues always focusing on continuous improvement: you will automate, educate and share knowledge transparentlyHave an opportunity to develop yourself and others in a true DevOps agile environmentThis position is mission critical and offers flexible work (minimum 2 days onsite and maximum 3 days from home – per week) Willing to perform weekend deployment activities and on-call on a rotational basis with peer team members (Estimated: One Saturday out of 4 weekends).

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field8 + years of solid work experienceHands-on expertise with CISCO ACI infrastructureExpertise on CISCO IOSStrong knowledge of network Routing Protocols: EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, VDCGood knowledge of Quality of Service (QOS)Good knowledge on ACI products like Tetration, NDO & NDI (or Orchestrator), APICGood Cisco knowledge is mandatory (CCNA or CCNP certifications are an asset)Experience with hybrid or cloud environments (e.g., Integration with AWS/Azure)Familiarity with SD-WAN, Zero Trust architectureFamiliarity with concepts like Zero Touch/Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)Autonomous, driven, with strong ability to quickly adapt and respond to changeBe customer oriented and quality mindset – we continually strive to deliver true customer valuePerform Swift Datacenter Network’s Network devices installations and provide end user/application connectivityPerform Swift Datacenter Network’s Network Management software deployments and upgradesPerform investigation of Swift Datacenter Network problems (at Level 2) identified by the Daily -Operations Level 1 and the execution of the necessary corrective actions to address the issues according to availability targetsManage the Swift Datacenter Network Carrier infrastructure maintenance for all SWIFT locations and escalate critical issues according to proceduresBe pro-active and provide improvements to existing processes and proceduresPerform the security integrity checks for Swift Enterprise Network Baseline compliance after major changesIncident Response: Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex network-related incidents, including performance bottlenecks, security breaches, and misconfigurationsMonitoring and Optimization: Utilize tools (e.g., SevOne, WireShark, SMARTS, Splunk) to monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize configurations for efficiency and securityCollaboration: Partner with Architecture, SOC, Security and Operational teams to integrate network systems with broader network infrastructure and applicationsDocumentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures for audit and operational purposesCompliance: Ensure Network deployments meet industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISAE, DORA). Research and Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies, recommending upgrades or new tools to enhance network securityCommunication: Strong verbal and written skills in English to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

Good knowledge of Network Security: MACSEC / IPSEC, RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1x, ISEGood knowledge of Switching technologies: Spanning Tree, vPC, OTVGood knowledge of WLAN: APs, WLC, Prime Infrastructure, CMX.DNACExperience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash) for Datacenter Network managementBasic knowledge of Network Monitoring & Management Systems: HP NNMi, Wireshark, Infoblox, SevOne, DHCP, NetmriBasic knowledge of Network ObservabilityDevOps knowledge related tools like Ansible, Terraform, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, python are requiredFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow tools for collaborationKnowledge/experience operating in Linux operating systemKnowledge of CI/CD pipeline and Automation technologies for build and deployment – Ansible, Jenkins

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $96,499.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $179,212.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employee’s contingent on personal and company performance. Our generous benefits program includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance with no premium costs for our employees and their families, and retirement plan plus matching 401k.
