What You'll Do:
AT&T Network Service Delivery organization is looking for an innovative and talented Senior Member of Technical Staff to work on strategic initiatives in network transformation domain involving Open ROADM, OCODON, and Circuit Emulation to design, develop, test and deploy cutting-edge AI-driven applications, systems, and platforms. This position requires understanding of network domain as well as emerging technologies to deliver innovative solutions for business needs. It also requires a blend of technical skills and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate will have domain experience in Open ROADM architecture and technical skills involving Agentic AI, GEN AI and Machine Learning along with mainstream software skills such Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle DB, Copilot, Docker, Kubernetes, CICD, REST API, Microservices, Kafka, VS code, and AZURE.
What You'll Bring:
Design, develop, test and deploy software to support delivery of network features using emerging technologies such as Agentic AI, GEN AI, Machine Learning along with tools and technologies such as Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Oracle DB, Copilot, GEN AI, Docker, Kubernetes, CICD, REST API, Microservices, Kafka, VS code, and AZURE.Perform test automation using AITAP. Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure stability of the system and network operation.Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and software tools and technologies to continuously improve applications.Document code, algorithms, and system design for maintenance and future development.Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers.Ensure that applications conform to AT&T technical standards for performance, security, high availability, disaster recovery, observably, scalability, and code quality.Collaborate with system engineers to use advanced technical knowledge to define architecture and requirements for new services.Serve as subject matter expert to assess the feasibility of system requirements.Work closely with operation partners to define and build self-service tools and applications to support network operation. Lead development team to support operation in root cause analysis of production outages and issues.What You'll Need:
Education/Experience: Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 2 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Our Senior Member of Technical Staff, earns between $132,400.00 -$198,600.00 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
